Germany's bet on green hydrogen
Germany is committed to green hydrogen – and to international energy partnerships in order to achieve its implementation.
The German government is supporting the expansion of green hydrogen worldwide, as national production will not be enough to meet rising demand. German companies are also involved in this expansion: in Chile, Siemens Energy is leading the construction of a factory for Porsche that will produce climate-neutral fuels. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Germany is helping to get systems up and running, supporting the exchange of expertise and infrastructure development – while securing long-term supply relationships at the same time.
